Where are the festivals located and how do I get there?
The festivals are both located in Parking Lot 56 and Burchard Park on the corner of Grand River Ave. and Turner St. in Lansing's Old Town.
Where should I park?
You can park anywhere on the streets in Old Town. You can also park in the neighborhoods just west of Old Town or park downtown and take the River Trail about a ½ mile north. Handicap parking is available along part of Grand River Ave. at the festival site. You can also use CATA routes 14 and 16.
Are the festivals held rain or shine?
YES! The festivals are mostly contained under large tents, so the party continues rain or shine. However, in the event of a severe thunderstorm, we may postpone events.
What is included with the price of an admission ticket?
With your entrance fee to both Festival of the Moon and Festival of the Sun you receive a souvenir glass and four drink/food tickets.
Can I bring my kids?
Unfortunately, children cannot attend the festivals. Must be 21+ to enter.
Are these events fundraisers?
YES! Old Town festivals deliver nearly 70 percent of the operating budget for the Old Town Commercial Association, and we greatly appreciate your support.
